Behind the scenes…

What a lovely week it has been! All around the signs are pointing to the weather getting colder and nights drawing in. A certain time of year is nearing and we are preparing for our busiest time of the year. Our Xmas giftsets are made up and in situ in our main store Whynot? in North Berwick. And … behind the scenes? Well what a year it has been!! This year so far we have been featured in Your Local Life magazine and Woman and Home magazine. Then this week, we were on set for none other than BBC’s Escape to the Country programme ready to talk about our lavender if chosen . You may only just sneak a peak of our stand on the show when it airs later on but what a fun day we had!! The cameras rolled and we waited for our cues…

Keep an eye out for lovely Rachel of Bonzoart who did a great job alongside her gorgeous artwork on the show too. Whynot? in North Berwick is a lovely place for local artists and makers like ourselves and it gives us the chance to showcase our makes and for me, my lavender products, to our customers seven days a week on the high street.

Closer to home …Plans are underway to increase the size of our lavender garden to accommodate more plants to produce more of our unique oil distilled onsite. We hope to plant this new area next spring and look forward to bringing you more updates then.
